Waa-waa - Brazil crashed out of the Copa America because 15/23 players were sick with a virus. Not the fact that they played crappy football and lost their only talented player through an ignorant, juvenile outburst.

People just expect too much from Brazil -- especially Brazilians. When most teams make the semifinals of a World Cup, they are treated like heroes at home. For Brazil, it's a national disaster. Argentina hasn't won a major trophy since they last won the Copa in 1993, but if Brazil loses in the quarters they are in shambles.
The problem they have is their soccer culture. Not only do they expect to win every game, but they expect to do it while playing beautifully. They need to get over themselves. I'd say that they're recent performances should help them eat some humble pie, but the fact is their recent performances haven't even been bad. There's nothing shameful about losing in the quarters, and coming in to the Copa they had won 10 straight games off a WC semi.
