78% margin on a $169 suit signals that there are a lot of shortcuts. The website makes no mention of construction, only the generic we pay attention to every detail spiel. Good for them if they make it work.

come on for real? my wife doesn't spend that much on her hair. i think a $20 cut is more than enough, more than that i better get a happy ending, assuming its a girl of course.

I love how this upsets people but yes it's true.
You know, I don't think its the fact you spend that much on your hair that upsets people, I think its the way you're throwing that out there as an obvious brag to make yourself seem above someone who may wish to spend a "measly" $160 on a suit rather than a haircut.

If I was inclined to brag it wouldn't be about my haircut Alex.

The comment was just so irrelevant to the topic that there's no other reason I could see for making it. Lets not disrespect the OP's post and diverge too far from the point of it.

Really this is almost like a troll thread, what's "styleforum" going to be talking about next? Potato sacks with strings used as belts?

Where is the "style" in a mass produced, cheap suit?

I'm with DavidReeves on this one. I don't have any experience with combatgent outside of the Dappered review, but those fit pictures did not look flattering at all. The shoulders looked heavily padded and cheap. A new brand comes out seemingly every other day promising to not be "your father's suit," but it's always just more of the same: cheap suits with a couple quirky styling details. SuitSupply is the one exception over the past few years that has pleasantly surprised me, and their suits still cost three times as much as combatgent.
