Thinking of pulling the trigger on this military jacket. Anyone have any tips on how this brand fits?

I'm thinking of pre-ordering a NR single breasted. Anybody have wisdom to offer on the proper size to wear over a 42L suit? Is an L too small? I assume given the weather proofing that tailoring the jacket is not an option after receipt.
Many thanks for the advice! And if I'm going sans liner, I assume that computes to an XL? Just don't want to get a non-returnable preorder wrong...I wear a 42L-44L suit based on brand and I take an XXL single breasted with a liner over a suit/jacket. I would not go any smaller.
Is your wife expecting triplets? Looks enormous.
Snark aside, I don't know this specific bag, but Master Piece stuff is really classy.
By coincidence, just kopped this shoulder bag this morning. A steal right now and might be more appropriately sized for one baby's worth of diapers? Unless the diaper bag route is the way to get your hands on the Overnighter you have set your heart on anyway?
Yes, that's overkill. You need something light, portable with a ton of accessible pockets. Not a carry-on equivalent that can fit a weekend full of clothes. The Master-Piece shoulder bag someone linked is a much better fit.
