?

Is this some internal joke? Size 56L...(EU) - that's what real men wear where I come from :)

Yeah, sorry. The joke was that I was reading it as though you meant 56 in quantity, not size. No questioning of your manhood intended. :satisfied:

And the really internal part of the joke was that when people are equivocating between two different styles or items, stitches has been known to offer counter-Solomonic wisdom. (I.E., just buy both.)

Are the prices including the tailoring credits and preorder discount? If so, did Eidos pricing go up considerably since this past season?

Prices incorporate tailoring credit but are before PREORDER discount.

Not considerably, no. Still incredible value IMO.

Put stuff in your cart and apply discount - you'll see how much you're saving.

Those ghurka shorts are bad ass. Couple of questions - what's the best way to size them? I sort of know my Euro Eidos pant size (e.g., 50). Would that be a 33 or 34 US size?

Also, will the color make up be as shown on the model pics? The swatches on the NMWA pre-order page are coming out much lighter. I know you noted that for the Field Jacket the swatches came out light - was wondering if that's the case for everything as well.

I read the close-up swatches are a lot lighter than in real life, but doesn't the beige donegal look more gray than biege? The yellow tints are hardly discernable. Is the color a lot closer to the brown tonal herringbone offering whose image is included in the item's preorder page?

Maybe @NickPollica can weigh in but I'm not sure odd sizes are available for the shorts. I think it would need to be 32 or 34 - and I would think 50 is a 34.

The colors on the model pics are much truer to life.

Will the shawl dinner jacket have lower patch pockets too? (surely not)

The dinner jacket has besom pockets.

It looked beige on my screen but I can take another pass at color correction tomorrow. It is a mix of brown and cream yarns that reads light brown. not a more medium brown like the brown tonal from this season.

What made think that is there are no dimensions provided for above 54.
But OK, got it.
Gotcha. Yes, we measured only the items and we had in hand, so all other sizes can be extrapolated. The dimensions are rather linear if you look at it. Our measurements can be overly "precise" looking, but if you round things off to the nearest 1/4", you'll see that the scaling is quite linear.
Greg, any idea what will be the measurements for sz44 trousers (sal)? tried to extrapolate but don't feel confident :|
You should feel highly confident that waist will measure ~76cm and rise ~28.5cm. The Sal trousers we had this summer was scaled in a very linear fashion

Hmmm, what height typically corresponds with a long? I am looking at the Eidos 50L, FWIW.
