I want to wear the varsity jacket but every time I try them on (doesn't matter which brand) my wife would always tell me I end up looking like some high school students...

So funny, I just read that post to my wife and she burst out laughing because she has told me the same exact thing each time I have tried one on.

We gotta fight for our right to dress how it pleases us. The whole idea that we're too old for X, and that we should be wearing penny loafers and a v-neck sweater over a buttoned shirt once we're past 25 is incredibly depressing to me. Let's wear what we want - including a bomber or Vans sneakers if we're a little nostalgic. Why not? Wives have to deal with it.

I figured I'd post any random shots of NMWA products during my current trip to South America. Gratuitous butt shot towards the end of a long tour in Cusco today. Big Johns and Butteros.

Grey chalk stripe flannel DB could also be a sharp GMTO idea...

^^^ could be worth pursuing. But we still need someone to post fit pics of Formosa double breasted.

I can't believe I am reading SF on Christmas Day. What is worse, I am travelling (Jordan). But I can report that my taupe suede Butteros were a good choice for the trip.

Regarding varsity jackets:

Although I have no qualms with them... I am not sure I am mentally prepared. I wore a varsity jacket for two and a half years in high school... Every day. Still not sure I am ready to take it up again. I love the monitaly one though.

It's a common term for a shawl collar sweater.

Funny, my wife likes it. Said I got it to look like her as she has a very similar sweater jacket.

It is grandpa style !

So now we cannot dress too young, and we cannot dress too old either? ;)

Too many restrictions. Let's break those chains!
