The Wythe is substantially heavier than the KS one, which leads me to believe it will be warmer. As mentioned, layer, keep your head and neck warm with hat and scarf, and you’re 80% of the way there.
Any eta on when the SC x NMWA tailoring (RTW) will arrive? Thanks!

I'm wondering if anyone here has experience with La Portenga's cardholders? Currently debating whether to get one from them or Guarded Goods.

My current one (which I got for $10 from Skagen 9 years ago) has a dipped pocket shape which makes it easy to pull cards out, a feature replicated on the Guarded Goods wallets but not La Portenga.

I don't have a great sense of the leather quality, thickness, etc of each brand.

I have this @AltNameTK for I don’t know how long now. I put at most 3 cards per sleeve and now insert and take out just fine. Took some time to break in from what I recall moving from a bifold. The top/middle sleeve allows for some cash just fine. My wallet currently stores 10 cards or so. I like it and have not thought about trading in for a new wallet for a ver long time now.

Most use their iPhone wallet now right? I’ll be a late adopter.

Really depends on what kind of things you're into, as there is a lot on offer. Will you be in Tokyo at all? If so, hit me up and we can grab a beer or a bite!

Unrelated, this made me smile when I got a reminder of it. Nine years ago (!!) this weekend we had a little booth at an UrbanDaddy popup in Meatpacking, focused on holiday gifting (hence the selection of accessories)

Love mine. Three card slots per side, most other card holders I’ve seen from other makers have either one or two per side.

I keep debt/credit on one side, IDs on the other, room for more cards and a little cash in the middle. Love it so much, I bought a spare for the future in case mine wears out (it’s been years and going strong) and for some reason they’re not sold anymore.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
