It ended up making the seat look a little wonky to me but she wouldn't adjust it for reasons I don't buy, and so I'll probably end up getting that looked at next fall.

I have to size up on most pants due to thigh / seat size, and then cinch in the waist. I consider the slighly wonky seats as a feature of easy pants, not a defect.

Thanks I ordered it this afternoon. Now I have to convince myself not to buy the navy one also.
The navy one is really great

With Fujito just dropping, should we be expecting the pre-orders to arrive soon as well?
The exclusive pocket tees were ordered and put in production quite a bit later than the seasonal order. It will be a few weeks

I imagine most people are thinking about the new season but I wanted to shout out the Monitaly riding pants. I just picked them up from the sale and they've instantly become some of my favorite. If you're a 34 I'd grab the last pair.

I really enjoy the comfort of wearing roomier pants and Monitaly’s riding pants have that sweatpants comfort level but the deep pleats give it that really attractive shape with long sculptural lines. Some of my favorite pants design ever - I’m glad we’re stocking more in lighter fabric this season too.

this is also why we worked with Rota to develop two new shapes of trousers with a relaxed leg. We’ll have some RTW for the first time this season, and the two new models will join the stable of MTM/MTO so everyone will be able to make some in the fabrics and size they like.

I feel that this is something that’s lacking a bit in the more casual end of the spectrum: the ability to have fun with custom combos like we do with more formal tailoring.

The riding pants are really great. I love the aggressive taper from the super roomy top. I have a spring/summer version in a light vancloth I think it is that also works well high waisted and a little cropped at the ankle.

Measurements on the riding pants make me think sizing up from my typical waist size would be the correct call. Does that feel like the consensus among current owners?

Thanks!

I would suggest going with your waist size. I have a 34 waist, and 34 fits perfectly. However if you are in between sizes, yes size up (there is not much room on the waist)
