How does one get on these magical pre order emails...
Rota preorders announced in this thread last year with half due up front. Email today is the notice they are in and ready to ship with balance due.

Exchange for the slippers came in, very pleased. I put a thin insole in and they're perfect. Any suggestions for glue to use on the leather strip in the back heel area? It showed up partially unglued along the top, no biggy. Was thinking of stitching it through the raffia potentially?

I've been wondering about getting that stitched instead but I'm worried it would create some uncomfortable rubbing action?

We've had a few gluing issues (all those are actually a result of the modifications we made to the basic shoe style that Abdeljalil normally makes) so I already know that I'll ask him to focus on that for the restock. I want to gather a little more feedback before sending him our reorder

Only one way to find out! I was thinking of using simple old cotton embroidery thread rather than leather thread, as to help with the potential rub. I'll let ya know if I do it how it works out.

I'm interested to see how they wear in, and also what will happen when I inevitably get caught in a summer rain shower.

I received notice of Luxeswap credit this morning and notice of the Monitaly cream stripe shirt being in stock this afternoon. If that isn't proof of a higher power, I don't know what is. Jawnz Godz be praised.
Damnit! Just went to try and pick it up and missed out. Stupid tax season is ruining my restock game. Missed out on the Xbox restock earlier today as well. Let me know if it doesn’t work out.

There is another thread just for pre-orders:

That thread is very useful and I have notifications on. It has almost all preorders. This current thread is great but sometimes too much to read (so notifications are off). If NMWA employees see this post, please know that the other thread is super useful and thanks for maintaining it.

e.g. here's Rota post:

you can also check the website (category pre-order), but be careful w that b/c many of the posts are for the REMAINDER payment on existing pre-orders.
