New Tony Shirtmakers shirt is up! @g transistor took the lead on this one, and you can read all about it here and here. This is the kind of awesome thing we can really only do with small makers like Tony and friends we make here on Styleforum. So happy with how this turned out.

suggestions on what to pair this with? my first thought was black jeans and some side zips. but there's probably a bunch of stuff i'm not considering.

We'll have cottons and linens but they remain tailored garments (canvassed, structured and pressed). If you're looking for an unstructured jacket in washed fabric or something like that, we won't be able to offer that at this point.

To manage expectations, when is the next update on the suits?

Guys, I've been wearing the shirt non-stop since I got it. Not just because I helped with it, but it's just an all around awesome shirt for the summer. The linen is light and airy but substantial, the ink is perfectly printed on (it's not scratchy AT ALL, which is awesome for a screenprint), and I am simply blown away by Tony's workmanship. This is my first shirt of his that I own, but I'm planning on getting a Western in the fall as well.

I think the coolest thing about this shirt is just how handmade it is. Read the stories on the blog, and you'll see how much work Tony puts into printing and making the shirt. It's incredible. The print itself was collected from real plants and done by hand, too, and I guarantee it's something unique that won't come around again!

Eternally thankful for the opportunity to do cool stuff with Kyle and No Man Walks Alone. It's a real treat and dream come true for me to be able to work with a shop I love so much with a maker as insanely talented as Tony Shirtmakers.

By the way, roll up the sleeves twice for maximum pleasure. :)

You can pair it with anything. I personally find it to be somewhat olive, which is really quite easy to pair. Army green, it's worked well with blues I've worn too. I think you'll be pretty safe. I've worn it with blue pants and green shorts and it works well. It's also a wonderful shirt to wear open over a tank top or tee.

So nice! Remind us about sizing.

I'd say it's TTS, but cut boxy and short (the pattern is a vintage Aloha shirt). Lots of great photos of fits out there, but my favorite being Kyle's that shows how it drapes on him. He's wearing a Small.

Enough to go down a full size if it's only slightly loose though? Maybe these are just not meant to be for me :(
I stuck it out with my regular size, they were a bit of an adjustment but I think they're great. Just don't expect them to feel like a loafer substitute, definitely their own beast.
