LA cobbler/shoe repair recommendations?
I live in Santa Monica and have a pair of shoes in need of resoling; can you guys recommend a quality cobbler or shoe repair shop in the area? I've been told Arturo of Beverly Hills is good. How does Polo Slim Custom-Fit compare to J.Crew (and other mall brands) in sizing?
It really depends on your size. I wear a medium Custom Fit, and it fits perfectly. Not gay-tight but trim. With J Crew, I had to either deal with a blousy midsection at Medium or an overtight fit at Small. I opted for small because I really needed a couple of polos, but it was not a good...- Brigden

J Crew F/W 09 Discussion
Just a heads up: I washed and dried several Secret Wash shirts and they (expectedly) shrunk up a bit in length. This was the desired result, I should add. Normally I don't dry much beyond socks and underwear. Also, without damaging the shirt, I managed to remove the tacky-looking patch thingy...- Brigden
