    MyTailor (Hemrajani Bros.) Appreciation/Discussion Thread

Does anyone know if there is a sale coming soon? I am considering ordering another shirt from the webstore, but am quite unfilling to shell out a full price, as there are still measurements and details that need to be dialed in.

WTF, are the first ones custom? How did you get so deep pleats with SS?

**The Official Shoe Care Thread: Tutorials, Photos, etc.**

I have added a picture to illustrate. This is before using the renovating spray, but that did not really make the situation better in regards to the salt streaks. It actually looks lighter and whiter than in the picture. I know that one is supposed to act on these stains immediately, but this...

Removing Salt Stains from Suede Leather Greetings, I am having problems with removing salt stains from my dark brown desert boots. I have given them a go with Saphir salt stain remover, then washed them with Saphir suede shampoo, and used the renovating spray in dark brown. The stains are...

So, how did the first round of made-to-order go? Unfortunately, I could not participate, but I am interested in hearing about the experience of others.

The State of Black Tie: Your Observations

From the facings that I have seen, it depends on the wale of the grosgrain. If it is too wide, then it will look bad. It should be quite fine, to make the silk of the facing look an "understated" matte.

Advice for First Pair of Bespoke Trousers

It seems that they currently do not have 4-ply wool in stock. They do have 2-ply wool, Scabal Tornado, 320 gsm, to be exact. Would in your opinion be suitable for four/three season use or is it more of a summer fabric?

What if I tore my last pair of such trousers (from Suitsupply MTM) last week and now there's a gaping hole on my seat?:violin:

Advice for First Pair of Bespoke Trousers

You wouldn't know the maker - a local, but a well respected, one in the capital of Estonia. As far as I am aware, their house style is quite eclectic and they seem to be quite forthcoming in regards to style details, but in hindsight I do concur that I will let them guide me more. My experiences...

The State of Black Tie: Your Observations

If I remember correctly, then up to the 1940s black-tie was often worn with white-tie elements - that are distinguished from black-tie elements. So, with a dark pointed lapel dinner jacket with a waistcoat you might have worn a winged collar shirt (with barrel cuffs and a marcella bib), mother...

Advice for First Pair of Bespoke Trousers

Greetings, I have quite some experience with made-to-measure tailoring, but even these have derided from Suitsupply, thus far. Next week I am going for my first on-site bespoke threads and have decided to start out with trousers, as these are the garments that are in the most dire of need of...

The State of Black Tie: Your Observations

The guide is still 90% brilliant, as the original content has not been altered much by the GG people. They do have inserted examples of the main guy wearing ill-fitting white- and black-tie ensembles with plastic boutons, and removed many great vintage illustrations, but the guide is still for...

Great advice. Do you have your velvet jackets without vents, as well?
