Thanks all - don't know why I forgot about Uniqlo, that's an easy option and I'll keep an eye out for moleskin in a few weeks. Much appreciated!

Bit of a random question, but I'm looking for hard wearing and relatively affordable pants. Essentially I find that with a 2.5 and 5 year old that most of my weekend time is spent running around and getting messy so have been running with some $20 costco chinos....but invariably with the quality...

P Perfect - I'll check it out. I might get lucky - these days I only tend to do in store shopping at the Henry Bucks sale, so it will be a nice change - and a good reason to escape Docklands during the day.

Forgot that they have separate concessions - I'll wander in on Monday in Melbourne and see what's there in person. Thanks for the reminder - their online store doesn't really give you the impression that there is much there at all.

Hi all, I've received a gift card for David Jones from a well meaning relative - but I haven't been in there in years - is there anything worth getting? I thought they used to have some nice shoes, but looking online it looks like a large collection of Lloyds and a few Loakes... Open to...

H Having just gone through this with a new RingJacket suit there are two Sams basically around the corner from each other - one at Sams Alterations and one at Master Alterations - I think the one at Master Alterations was across from the ANZ building in Docklands previously? Sams Alterations...

I'm never organised enough for Henry Bucks sale and always miss the best stuff - I'm going to have to book it in the calendar next time and just go right when they open next time!

    Ring Jacket Japan

Just thought I'd say a thank you to thread contributors - was looking for a new suit and stumbled onto the rakuten link in this thread - ordered a 38 as measurements seemed ok - very very happy with the quality for what I paid - no access to Ring Jacket outside the internet in Australia, so was...

Hi all - i know this will probably be a wide ranging question but figured it couldn't hurt to ask. I've received a Ring Jacket suit in the mail which seems to be exactly what I'm after in terms of sizing (sight unseen on Rakuten was an exciting gamble). As it's new with unfinished sleeves and...

    The Hong Kong Tailors Thread

Hi gents, Not sure if this should be in the Unfunded liabilities thread or if I should just ask Merino Brothers, but thought I would try the collective wisdom of the Hong Kong thread first. Heading over from Melbourne late October with the family for about 2 weeks in Hong Kong and will look to...

A Sam (and David) Hober Tie Appreciation Thread

Thanks for the suggestions - that's really helpful, especially the "don't order a whole bunch straight away" suggestion, because my wishlist was getting a little out of control......... I'm emailing David now and will post my first purchases when they come through - can't wait!

A Sam (and David) Hober Tie Appreciation Thread

Hi guys, long time lurker first time poster - recently got two fantastic Kent Wang ties, a grenadine and a pin dot, at the same time that I had my first MTM suit done with MJBale. The surprise to me was turning up to work and having compliments from everyone! Plus, for the first time ever I am...
