The internet loves DE razors but basic logic will easily refute the hackneyed arguments that get trotted out in favour of them every time this topic comes up.

Get the Philips OneBlade or a Braun electric if you have sensitive skin or the Gilette Mach3/Fusion/Skinguard if you want a close wet-shave. If budget is a concern then consider one of the older Gilette carts like the Sensor or Atra.
You don't advice DE razors? Why?

I use a MERKUR Futur with Feather razor blades. I have thick hair and extremely sensitive skin. Multiple blade razors are painful for me.

And which shaving cream and after shave you use for these?

My favorite creams are Billy Jealously or Pacific Shaving Company. After shave I usually use an alum block and then Billy Jealously shaved ice. Face oil, even preshave oil, is also really good to use as aftershave.

I love the old school Mitchell's Wool Fat shaving soap and keep going back to it for my cream. I've used Anthony for Men aftershave lotion for about fifteen years now.

I use whatever Gillette blade and razor is on offer, they're all very similar but I like the 'powered' ones a bit better. I have stacks of Proraso shaving foam, and am on my last Kiehls after shave balm (they stopped making it a few years ago, but I stocked up).

Not sure what logic exactly can refute DE razors all that easily? The cost savings alone compared to cartridges are profound.

I use a merkur w/ Personna blue blades. A box of 100 can last for well over a year depending how often you shave and is maybe...$15.

I use (now discontinued unfortunately) Penhaligons Sartorial shave soap and aftershave which I love. My supply will be up soon and will probably switch to a Truefit and Hill soap.
