Hi all, looking for some advice in terms of trousers... it seems a bunch of the bespoke pairs that I get made end up having the following problem in the crotch (so sorry, ignore the dirty mirror, it looks perfectly fine other than in pictures!):

Looks fine normally:

But spread the legs slightly and you get this unsightly... for lack of a better word... "vag*na" looking thing:

This is instead of a "V" like the crotch should have. Is this just a matter of excess fabric? Or is the rise too low here? And what's the best way to fix this on an existing pair? Help! Thanks very much.

Wouldnt neccasarilly worry unless you plan on walking around with your legs bowed.

Trousers cut a bit too open and with too much length. Just take it in or pass out the top. Alterations tailors should be able to do easily enough

Appreciate it... can you explain a bit more? When you say just take it in or pass out the top, what does that mean? Thanks.

I wouldn't worry about it. Just take it to an alteration tailors and they can sort.

Explaining things on forums doesn't always work. You'd need a knowledge of patterns.
