How did you find the fit? I tried on a pair on CN-S Gary boots last year in the Brass shop and while they fit were more snug than I’d be comfortable with long term.. the gentlemen in the store told me CN was wider and would most likely fit me better. Wanted to get in on the Jodohur MTO, but hesitated lol.

It's definitely a snug but good fit with medium socks. I think I could probably go half size up with no issue and length wouldn't be too long

perhaps this is the wrong place to ask this, but i am wondering if anyone knows of a japanese plain toe oxford or derby shoe with a pronounced norwegian-style storm welt, similar to this hender scheme "chunk" model (from 2013, now near-impossible to find):

i typically see this kind of notched welt on hiking boots, for instance this paraboot x and wander avoriaz:

but much less so on dress shoes. but once you've seen something you like, it's impossible to get it out of your head! does anyone know of anything similar to the hender scheme? i'm open to any colors or materials.

.5 down from Brannock (2023 sizing)

I had been wanting these for awhile and sized myself at 1 full size down, but that was on pre-2023 sizing. JL apparently resized the DPs this year to better match sizing across their other boots, so now it’s consistent with .5 down…
