Pretty slick. Definitely more of a 1980s Brest, France RAC look though. Conjures images of Brutal Combat.

It is an interesting take on a classic. Seems quite cropped like MA-1s used to be. I prefer the (a tad) longer contemporary versions though.

I had the MA-1 before. A nice sturdy and practical jacket, imo.

Buzz Rickson, etc. are incredible. I have the Real McCoy’s(Ja.po repro company similar to Buzz) version of the MA-1 in sage. The batting is a wool/cotton mixture— I can only wear it on the coldest of days. Similarly-cropped, era-correct pattern.

They sometimes DO make ‘em like they used to, but you’re gonna pay through the nose for ‘em.

Prometheus was extraordinary. I understand the decisions made in plotting the sequel, but felt (as with those of Hyperion) substantially worse off for having known it.

Prometheus Character seem to have inspired Feyd Rautha look in Dune 2.
