I bought a suit , shirt and tie. I have to wear it on a farewell party. I just wanted a advice that whether combination is right or not.Shirt is in off color and tie red.

I'd change the shirt to white or blue regardless of the tie. If you have a less bright tie, I'd wear that too. If not, a white shirt is the way to go
A true white shirt would look a lot crisper than the offwhite. Off white shirts are actually much trickier to pull off and to match with ties. And if you have a less bright, or lower sheen tie, I would probably go with that.You mean i should wear red tie with white set ? Off white is not good?
