Hey guys, I've just had a new suit and jacket made up by Samuelsohn for myself and I've decided that I much prefer the model I went with on those, so I'm going to let these navy wardrobe staples go. This will be a great deal for anyone in need of a navy jacket and/or suit, as Samuelsohn garments are fully canvassed and already a great value at retail price. These are both Samuelsohn's "Gable" model, which have a contemporary button stance, 3 1/4" lapel, soft shoulders, and side vents. Super 130s navy serge wool with a little bit of lycra for stretch and "performance". 9 1/4oz.
1. Navy Blazer $400 350 250 (~$800 retail)
I had this one altered to fit a little smaller than a stock 38R Gable- took in the shoulders and shortened the jacket slightly. Check the measurements to get an idea of how it fits now. With the exception of these two alterations, the rest of the jacket has the material left inside to play around with.
Needs a cleaning and press... My apologies!
Back length from bottom of collar 28 3/4"
Shoulder 17 1/2"
Pit to pit ~19 1/2"
Left sleeve inseam 17"
Right sleeve inseam 17 3/4
2. Navy Suit $600 550 400 (~$1100 retail) SOLD
The suit jacket wasn't played around with other than the usual alterations, so these shoulders and body length are stock from the factory's 38R pattern. The trousers were taken in in all the usual spots as well, but the trouser legs also were slimmed slightly.
Pit to pit 20"
Shoulder 18"
Length from back bottom of collar 30"
Right sleeve inseam 17"
Left sleeve inseam 16 1/2"
Pants (Model Q62)
Waist aligned 16"
Inseam ~30"
Leg opening 7 7/8"
Knee 10"
Please contact me with any questions. Thanks for looking!
