houston is such a ****** city in terms of shop selection this would be a huge boost.

by streetwear and denim standards, absolutely. by menswear standards, its got great resources especially considering 90% of the male populous dress like marsupials.

they probably just have a merchandising problem. it does seem out of place with regular RL stock.

Perhaps, I just always get horrible service in places like Chevy Chase, Georgetown, Tysons. I'll do my RRL shopping at Farinelli's thank you (hopefully).

Like ctrlaltelite said, RRL isn't like any other brand. RL dumps loads of money into the label not only because it's Ralph's baby but because the flagship stores serve as image advertisement.

Yes, quite a few but in limited numbers. Best way to track them down is to call a RRL store directly. I know Melrose had a few in stock when I was there the other week.

Hi, common sense here with a tidbit for you: As stores close and malls and other commercial real estate owners are desperate to fill space, companies with liquidity, uncommonly strong earnings & performance and/or strong portfolios can expand, relocate or simply leverage for better rent/lease figures. I guess common sense missed the part about comparing 'hot topic' to RRL.

I purchased from therrshop 3 times in the past and the things I bought had outlet store stickers on them with markdowns, or no retail price tag at all on my latest purchase, so I doubt he has direct connections of any sort and rarely stocks jeans but he provides good products and service.

hanasi and silviob have a solid inventory, worth keeping an eye out on both of them.

You asked how a clothing store could expand in this climate, I explained it to you. I drew no direct connection between the two nor implied that the scenario was the case for RL. RRL's product offerings and its impact on the ability to expand is a whole other conversation but your implication that one impacts the other was a generic layman association at best. If you need further info on how commercial real estate works, feel free to ask more stupid questions.

maybe if you knew how to READ I specifically mentioned RRL in this scenario saying "especially a brand like RRL that sells $300 jeans and $200 Belts" not asking how cheap stores like 'hot topic' where you go to buy your $20 jeans and goth crap could expand because frankly, it's quite obvious.

OP, you might want to add the Lenox Mall RRL in Atlanta. It's more like a closet than a store, but they get some decent stock.
