I just finished catching up with this thread. These pics were taken in October so I should be receiving the garments from Steed soon.
I hope your suit turns out well; I would’ve asked for one more fitting.

Please keep this thread updated:

Heading to see Macbeth tonight. Different experience with the play held at on old studio up around Union Market with food trucks on hand for chow. Should be an epic production.

Ascot Chang linen jacket from The Armoury, Zegna linen shirt, Brioni linen pants, C&J dark brown suede loafers.

That's a lot of breathable fabric on a day that wasn't particularly hot.

Love the jacket color.

Jacket is very thick linen but shirt and pants are very breathable. I tend to run hot. I mentioned the theater was warm but my wife was wrapped in one of the blankets they provided. Received quite a scowl.

I think you are good shape if she or he ( he who will not be named) did not send a forbidden curse your way.

Ps excellent colors. I got a couple budget seersucker chore coats coming my way soon. I’ll update once I get back from my business trip.

I guess government work isn't all black suits and earpieces.

You're a nobody in this town unless you ride in a black SUV with earpiece-wearing Goons. Actually, the Secretary of Agriculture was there and had a few relaxed security guys escort him.

After 9/11 it was not just the black SUVs, but the black SUVs with the rear window down and a machine gun mounted on a turret in the back.

Seersucker is just the business.

Was in NOLA last week for a second line (our 20th) and after a large breakfast in which the biscuit was left over, I took it along on the stroll to St. Louis #1 in my Haspel. A local chap who was opening up his shop of many things came out of the doorway as we went by and exclaimed "damn he got seersucker AND a walkin biscuit!"

I'd like to think dad (who was very vocal about his time stationed down there ingratiated him to the locals to the point he earned the title of "RCA" which I'll not elaborate on here, but anyone from the area knows what it is) would have been very proud of that moment.
