but what is an example of this delicate taste? I can definitely respect what someone likes and dislikes but I want to see what it is that rikod likes

He likes the Vass in the link below. It stands to reason he wouldn't like Jazzmenco's Bontoni shoes

i cant quite put my finger on what he likes and dislikes. i think he looks for more smooth transitions in combos, not hard contrasts. either way, i prefer he express his opinion this way, than pick out combos to specifically say he hates them. i think his present mode, though i disagree with his opinions, is not rude.

Thank you for that.

I liked your shoes and combo 2 days ago and I said so. I see things as a whole and try to figure the reason, choice, occasion, opportunity etc. I understand this thread is for fun and to give unusual ideas too. At the end it's all personal opinion, I've seen incredibly beautiful boots by Carmina and wonderful shoes by EG and I just think that a long ruby red balmoral and the westminster would be my last choice. Again, absolutely personal choice, everybody love them, but I like to feel free to say I don't, spark conversation, suggestions or whatever (or sarcasm, like the gentleman who posted a link to the strange Vass shoe and said that is what i like).

I'm not very stylish and don't know a lot about rules & details, I just react to what I like and what I don't. Everybody screw up anyways, even PSG, the starter of this thread and a man of impeccable taste posted a pic. wearing a Bontoni triple monk no less. I didn't say anything, I'd been crucified.

A few months back there were more ideas, suggestions and less 100% agreement.
Cheers guys, sorry for the long post.

Rikod I can certainly appreciate your feedback and opinion. I was just curious as to why they were not appealing. I also do remember when I started posting here and there were criticisms which I used to help enhance what I post, but I do feel like combos have been much more appealing overall therefore my blanket comments of great posts and such.

Anyways after some green inspiration here is what I have

I find I drink too much, too quickly to spend a ton on booze. Plus the bottle was an Easter gift, so I was obliged.

Thanks!, and that's a good one, I like tan/green/brown a lot and use the combination frequently. Actually, I have that same pair of Carminas purchased at The Armoury a couple of yeas ago and I love them, that last is super nice and fit me very well too.
