They look great but I think the pate de lux will be too waxy for me as I'm trying to keep as casual a look as possible. I have some of the 1925 creme in neutral which gives more shine than I'd like but maybe using this in dark brown will do the trick if I don't over buff them.

I have Crème de Luxe Neutral and Black and found neither strong in the shine, I would describe the results as a elegant silk-matt gloss.
Most people apply too much care and many too often.

Cany anyone advise on size/fit comparison between Tricker's Chelsea boots on the 10660/1 last and RM Williams? Searched but didn't find this specific comparison anywhere. RM Craftsman and Gardener in 8G AUS is a perfect fit for me w/ a dress sock, for reference. thanks

Leo Ridge Kudu African Explorer Shooting Boot mounted on crepe, amazing; maybe in the Top 10 of my collection.

I truly regret missing out on these. I got a peanut kudu suede chukka off the outlet site just for the heck of it and they ended up being one of my all time favourites. I recall at the time seeing these on the main site but not getting down to it. There might even have been a few for sale on the outlet.

Do you have any tips for cleaning the crepe sole? I have the Daniel shoe in the same makeup (Ridge Kudu Suede and yellow crepe sole). The shoes are great and I wear them often but the sole has gotten very dirty, it does not look good from the sides.

Never been a fan of the crepe sole for this exact reason. Well, that and its propensity to disintegrate.

Ah mine is a Vibram Christy actually so a bit easier to clean. Maybe some rubbing alcohol? Never really owned anything with a crepe sole yet.

Or : Find some snow and walk through it. 🤣🤦🏽‍♂️

Rubbing alcohol works great on white sneaker soles (like common projects etc…). I have to try it on the crepe and see if it works. Snow is something that does not exist where I live, so that’s not a method I can use… 😉
