There are old threads on this for suits, but I wanted to ask specifically for leather jackets.
How bad (or good!) is it if you have a leather jacket made MTM, but you lose substantial weight later (say over 10 or 20 kg).
The longstanding advice for suits is to have a suit made for your body today and absolutely not give in to wishful thinking to anticipate potential weight loss. The shoulders are the important part and are less affected by weight loss, and for a suit the waist can be taken in to a degree. How exactly does this translate for a leather jacket?
I assume everyone will say here go ahead and get something made, and in the very worst (best!) case, get another made to celebrate if your waist really shrinks by 6 inches.
