I think he just posted that because he's a streetwear and denim guy, and kicks are typically referring to sneakers. But I could be wrong.

It would be like Manton saying to a guy in a Kiton suit "Yo mang, you got some tight fits".

in your line of work (law) you definitely will need a classy, authoritative pair of cordovan full brogues like these. you will definitely kick some a$$ with these at your firm. in a charcoal or navy suit.
