We are pleased to finally get the ball rolling on Engineered Garments FW 16. It has been difficult for us to consider thinking about the cooler months ahead when our heads are stuck in a heat wave. However, EG’s deliveries have already been hitting the shelves and our initial order should arrive this week. We will post our selections of the collection and we, as always, invite other retailers to do so as well. We make no stakes in this being our thread but only for the common good of sharing what has become a beloved brand.
The collection is Daiki’s continued take on his inspirations of designers that influence his creations. The one designer that both of us have a fondness over is Randy Allen of ATZ. There’s not much information about him out there, but his inspirations were far ahead of the times.
Once more, the collection hangs on to the darker monochromatic hues that were apparent for FW 15. Daiki’s use of recycled design and vintage takes on functional clothing and outerwear is a permanent statement of his designs. Each season we experience a metamorphosisizing of the collections and a freshness evolves.
As always, we are here to answer any questions and if possible (which these days is seldom) try to obtain a special item outside of our selections for the season. Thanks again for the support and business from this past season.
