Now I have to check it!This is much more diplomatic than I would be…..
Thank you, I've been googling 'two tone' XD.Usually one refers to it as separates as opposed to a suit. You can also speak of a jacket with odd trousers.

Yeah it does, further to @DorianGreen suggestion I was able to find more info on it look up 'spezzato' or 'spezzato style'. Which is exactly what I am looking for.@fasyionewbie
Jacket would be known as a sport coat or blazer or just called a jacket.
There isn’t a term for the combination of jacket and trouser that isn’t a suit.
It’s up to you to purchase each separately and create combinations of jackets and trousers you like.
This applies to everything that isn’t a suit.
Does this help answer your question?

Thanks all!
Yeah mee too! I am not very good at combining colour, but nothing a quick google can't help. Maybe someone should dedicate a thread to Spezzato style.Glad that I could help you. Yes, in Italy it's known as "spezzato".
By the way, I'm a great fan of it and always combine my jackets (sport coats) with odd trousers.
That looks like Suitsupply. I love their db jackets. They are so much better looking than a lot of other jackets on the market
I like the length of the lapels but I don't like the width.

I do like traditional and I am rather conservative in my personal style. Also, I have an aversion to wide lapels from the 70s.I love wide lapels, they always provide a dramatic touch. Of course, it's my personal preference, you can go with something more traditional and restrained.
