Firstly no not me, I wasnt in the presidio nor do I own a grey jacket and I am not big on drop crotch pants.

Having said that, why was it ridiculous if styled well then all 3 items can work, I would opt for drip sneakers over tornados with sweats which sounds like they were RO.
I do agree they can be styled well of course. I have some Japanese denim cargo shorts from Rick which work surprisingly well with simple styling (saying cargo shorts makes it sound very unfashionable but it's "desginer" and "avant garde" so it's cool). I think because they're shorts and they give a clean break between short and leg you don't have that short leg syndrome that longer dropcrotch pants tend to have, like the prisoner joggers. I enjoy those too but the styling often requires some heavy layering to look good.

Ouch. Unnecessary. Unfortunately starting to get too hot for leather now, but had a good season with my Joe McCoy’s type 3 unlined rough out jacket. I find that I reach for the same thing over and over.

The only leather jacket I wear in this weather is my Blackmeans bomber in sheepskin, which they did for Mr Porter at some point. I think I've unfortunately become too big for my Rick leather, which I can technically zip up but it ain't very pretty. When I say too big I mean it in a healthy and positive way, so it's just suffering from success I suppose.

Truly depends, I'd wear p14 bbs w/carol leather and boots that works, I think if one is going for a sporty more casual look the boots become out of place, combat boots can work at times but its tricky and I do agree would require laying
