Thanks for the feedback guys. Yes - the suit has almost no shoulder padding, so its pretty much conforming to my body shape. Interestingly i almost always prefer the less structured/softer look (as you've probably all noticed) and so your feedback is definitely appreciated and something to think about.

The shoes are pebblegrain Barkers.

KTG - i did like the pants from the day before. That color of khaki is awesome. Nice texture on the Sammy also. Keep at it man.

I like the suit, but the shirt's too busy IMO.

I wouldn't beat yourself up about the previous day's look too much; clothes are meant to be fun, not a test to pass or fail. Yeah there are a few things to note, but overall, it's very presentable and natural. I agree that today's look is a bit cleaner though.

Yep, definitely looks tidy. Are those jeans really considered light though? They seem a mid-blue to me. The light jeans I don't like tend to have that really pale sky-blue colour. An offering to be sacrificed to the SW&D gods... Photos from yesterday, but I think that's allowed in this week's contest. Context is that I wasn't planning on doing much yesterday, but then got asked to do a bit of work in the afternoon so added a tie and waistcoat to my not-working sort of clothes... you can therefore consider this very much halfway between SW&D and MC. Sorry, I just can't do true proper casual/SW&D in any sort of interesting way and definitely no grimy industrial scenes; I'm just not "street" in any way.

Playing around with the photoeditor. I think it's more trouble than it's worth.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
