Explain why. I bet you don't know.

My family has a history of high cholesterol. I'm curious to see my HDL/LDL levels when I get my bloodwork done in a week or so.

Keep us updated on that. Are you going to get NMR Lipoprofile? Standard lipid panels don't really tell the whole story when it comes to LDL although I guess you can extrapolate and guess what your vLDL is like from your HDL/Tri ratio.

I eat normally 12 each day, but only the white part, I remove the yolk but include the chalaza.

Eggs are fine. They have like nothing in them per egg. If you're worried about fat/cholsterol, don't eat too many yolks. For a meal, I usually pack like 2 yolks, 7-8 egg whites which just about covers my protein for that specific meal.

+1. As much as I love eggs, I have no love for the egg whites.

Well, that table leaves out calories which is the main concern for most people. It's a somewhat silly concern at times (eating egg whites so that they can have potato chips later), but still a concern for people nonetheless.

You waste 12 egg yolks a day?

Go to hell!

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
