Glen plaid - seasonal?

I just bought my first slim suit, a 2b, peak lapel, glen plaid RL Black Label suit. My tailor has adjusted the sleeve length and hemmed the pants and I'm eager to wear it.

I have a dinner function on Saturday evening. Is glen plaid OK to wear at this time of year?

I'm pretty sure Glen plaid is pretty neutral.

I would say year round. But if you wanted to get particular, lighter grey glen plaids might be more appropriate for spring-summer-early fall.

I think Reagen wore glen plaid to Europe in the summer, however it was not especially well received.

It's all about the cloth weight and your locale. Tropical weight in southeast, fine. NY during November, not so much.

I just noticed you are in TO. You need at least a 10/11 ounce cloth to pull it off there.

I believe its okay to wear at any season. Post some pics when you get the suits.
