I stumbled on this documentary about kimono fabrics shot by pro surfer / director Takuji Masuda. It includes a scene of Yohji learning to surf. I guess he used the same fabric house for one of his women's collections.

Perhaps an annoying first post, but I was curious if any of you had decent knowledge on vintage Y's tags. I collect 80s CDG, and decided to branch out into some vintage Yohji when my usual source listed a coat to my fancy. Best information I've yet to figure out regarding this tag on a now dead forum is that it would be between late 70s and early 80s. That would make sense considering that's the same era of CDG she lists.
