I'm thinking about getting a jacket with the product code FV-J18-107. Is this a women's jacket from SS09? based on the measurements, it should fit a 46 to slim 48 (size 3), but I'm hesitant with how it'll fit. Does anyone here have experience with YYF?

Some YYF jackets/coats have quite a bit of waist suppression, narrowish shoulders and relatively shorter sleeves compared with the same sized YYPH stuff, contributing to a more feminine silhouette.

I see, thanks for the info. The sleeves seem to be normal length (25"), but there may be suppression in the waist. It's a really great jacket but I don't think I'll take the risk.

You need to look at the combined shoulder + sleeve measurement to determine where the cuffs will finish on you. The ( relative ) waist suppression is purely subjective, some men may like it that way.

Right, the shoulder is 17" and sleeve 25" (and chest is 20"). Based on these three measurements, it should fit like a regular 46 jacket.

Edit: well, I convinced myself to get it lol.. guess I'll see how it fits soon

Just wondering if anybody knows more about Yohji's involvement with his Y-3 label? More specifically the material choices, construction and how much of the aesthetics is him and how much is Adidas. I've seen both Y-3 and the Pour Homme collections in person and find that with Pour Homme, the construction, fit and material choices tend to be much nicer and unique where as Y-3 seems quite generic (not to mention the made in China tag?). I'm caught in quite a dilemma in which I cannot decide to get something from his Pour Homme line or Y-3. Also on a side note, anybody know what made Y's for Men different from the Pour Homme line?
