A few years back I was at my parents house on the family PC (they live on the other side of the world to me), I did a Google search on something mundane (a family member actually) when all of a sudden the computer started "screaming" at me (couldn't make out what it was saying but it sounded pretty violent. Freaked me out somewhat as I was expecting to see results of the above-mentioned relative's recent professional success.

Looking back I reckon it was payback for all the times I have yelled at computers. I talk nicely to them now.

At first it was a little girl's giggle, then some other odd sounds and finally a guys voice screaming red code. That's all I heard before I cut the volume to my speakers. BTW this is not a joke thread, or parody, or anything stupid. I'm 100% dead serious this happened.

Seriously, though, same thing happened to a guy I used to go to college with. It happened sporadically over the course of 3-4 months. Eventually he went a little loopy, lost his job, moved away, and last I heard he actually committed suicide.
