Shoot me some good brands.

I'm very, very tired of what I have right now and want to completely replace my lineup. I work in a fairly conservative office environment (sumptuary laws in full effect, as it were) but I'm all about expressiveness in the subtle details. I vastly prefer wool over cotton or synthetics. Cost isn't too much of a point, but durability and comfort are. Some places I've looked so far are Thomas Pink, PRL, and Kent Wang. I need some solids, but fun patterns are a huge plus.

Thanks in advance.

Gold Toe, Pantherella, Falke. I'm glad someone finally brought up socks.;)
Good socks often have a bit of polyester, otherwise they tend to droop.

Great suggestions everyone.
Here are a couple of care tips for the newbies:
1) When washing wool socks, turn inside-out, soak 15min COLD water, hand wash, rinse 2x, hang dry. Never machine wash wool socks ever!
2) Over time the wool fibres will break down, which is to be expected, but pay attention inside the toebox of your shoes as these fibres will quietly gather into wool bunnies and should be removed periodically with a damp (not outrightly wet) cloth.

I find just machine washing on cold and letting them air dry works fine. No need to hand wash or turn inside out this way.

Hmm, not too much of a fan of the Marcoliani styles I saw. Only ribbed and Argyle.
Mid calf is my preference, over the calf is simply too stodgy. Especially unreasonable in the summer. Drake's are out then.

The Viccel guy posts on here every now and then. He makes good wool socks, but they take a little while to get to you as they're shipped from Turkey. Take a look at the archives for the SF discount code.
