Looking forward to the supima / micro-modal thermal and supima jersey offerings next week. Hopefully there'll be a u-neck or henley option for one of them.

Maybe I'm just out of the loop but wasn't there talk a while ago of a WvG leather jacket? Anything ever come of that?

I'm going to be really curious about the weight, and how they'll fit. But those fabrics excite me for sure.

I don't think there's been talk of it in a while, but last I heard Mauro was working on standard size charts with the factory. Things might've stalled out on it, but Mauro's last blog post mentioned a 6-month project production so maybe he'll have an update with that.

I wonder how are the prices for the knits? Better start saving up! Will probably get three of the knits.

On another note, has anyone gotten a pair of the project denim Italy before? How does it compare to the jeans that Japanese Repro brands make like Oni? Or (I assume it retailed 100$ range) stuff priced similarly like Naked and Famous or Gustin?

The denim isn't a crazy slubby fabric like Oni and pure blue Japan, but the details are nice. Flat rivets, tucked belt loops, reinforced buttons. It's a good deal for the price.

I loved my jeans man. Wore them to a hole, patched them, and wore them to another hole. Really sad the contest failed so hard, would have loved that prize, but the jeans were worth it at twice the price.

Oni and PBJ from what I know are on another level. That sounds pretty cool. I really have to see the pair to judge myself though. I wish whoever took the pictures would've zoomed in on the details that make the piece really nice.

I'm probably going to try to get a pair of Red Clouds the next time I'm in China at this point for my denim. Good price and really cool. How much did the Denim Project Italy cost?

Oh man. Sorry to hear that. What happened to the contest exactly?

How much did they cost?

Also, if anyone bought a pair of the jeans in 36 and don't want them on sale, I might want the pair. PM me.

What was the prize and original price of jeans? They seem pretty interesting but I'm nervous about the sizing.

It ended up being only like 3 of us, so it fizzled out. I think I got mine for 70 or 80

Wow. That's not good. I'm kind of happy that I found wolf vs goat, but I'm less happy that the customer base is so small. The stuff Mauro makes seems really cool and at very good prices too.

The upcoming knits and Henleys will be my first order from him at full. I hope everything goes well.

$70 is totally worth it.

I've got two pair going right now with different inseams. Got another pair on sale for $40 that I'm leaving in the plastic until I need it. Fit is so good along with everything else and I'm afraid Mauro will never make them again. A real shame.

I think a lot of WvGs issues had to do with making to much product in too many variations. The jeans for example came in three different inseams in full size runs. It's not a surprise to me he got stuck with so much stock. I'm really hoping the new preorder system will help with those woes
