I have a few occasion where my shoe lace snapped. I have bought a few to keep for raining days but when raining day arrive, they are no where to be found.

How do you maintain your shoe lace? or just buy 10 pairs of shoe laces?

I have this problem. I have a lot of shoelaces that give up after about a year of use. Everytime I buy a buy a new pair of shoes, I put the extra shoe lace in a box I have in my closet so I have a central location to look. Tough to say how many I have because I brought too many pairs since finding this forum.

I, however am a big fan of monkstraps. Speaking of shoelaces, has anyone tried this place:

Googling brings them up. The prices look pretty good.

i ve found out that shoelaces also have varying degrees of quality too.

all my AEs, C&J, and gucci came with extra shoelaces, I keep them in their original box (i use the box to store the shoes when not wearing) but i had no need of them yet because the laces are strong.

but my hugo boss shoes, the laces snapped after only 5 wearings. it may be because of the eyelets being too sharp around the edges instead of the laces, dont know.

I keep all my shoelaces in a special box and I'm very good about forgetting where I store this particular box!

When I have a pair of shoes or boots that wear out I save the laces. I find that this helps out quite a bit when other laces wear out. I can usually find at least an emergency replacement lace. I find that it's a real drag to shop shoelaces.
