I don't hesitate to take my jacket off with a vest (or without a vest, for that matter). The only thing I won't do (any more) is show suspenders. I wear them but either under a vest or I don't take my jacket off.
I do have one pair of light gray flannels. I do wear them. However they aren't my favorites with every outfit. They are my favorites with SOME, but by no means are they my go to pents. I have to tell you, I could give two sh*ts about feedback. Yes, advise does have an influence what I wear, but I still wear what I want. And I happen to think gray trousers are ok. Not great. But ok.

CM, I don't like that you're pairing a warm gray up top with a cool gray on the bottom.
You tend to wear, like, shades of the same color in the jacket and trousers, and then an accent color in a tie or a square. Kind of an unusual default approach.
Scatterbrain, I detest jacquard striped ties, and the last combination is really bad. If the first two were repps and you'd gone for a white linen (or cream silk) square, they'd be pretty good in my book. The first SC falls into the "not enough for a sportcoat, too much for a suit" area.
