Probably for the Japanese market, if they're the real thing then it semi justify the price (real thing as in they're painted layer after layer to make it, would cost quite a bit even in China)

Unfortunately it looks like the selection of sizes is very limited on the suits and there's no way to filter on the suit sale page. I would've immediately grabbed a navy 1818 suit if they had it in more than two sizes.

You have to look around a bit. I just bought two Made in USA staple suits (one solid blue, one solid grey) in 40R, Fitzgerald cut, Saxxon wool. There's still one 40R left (link).

With Shoprunner and a 17% discounted giftcard from Giftcard Zen, it all came out to $850. That's a really, really good deal.

Just go into the "Sale" section, click "Apparel" then click "suits" and then use the filter on the left to select your size. It will be more than the stuff for $499 but at least everything that comes up will be in your size.

If you have a store ( not outlet) near you have a SA look up the style number and see if an actual store has one that you like in your size. I saw one online but not in my size and stopped into my local BB and my rep found the suit at another store and is having it sent to the store to have tailored
