This sounds great, but I'm super skeptical of Netflix doing that many seasons of a show
One of my favorite shows of 2023!

Three (maybe four) seasons could be good/great. I am not super exited about a spinoff. Agree with you regardless of what creators want, I don't have the faith in Netflix to follow through....
Watched Catch 22 on Hulu again recently so it reminded me to add this one to the Apple TV queue for Jan 26. Spielberg and Hanks have some involvement so I have high hopes that it will live up the Band of Brothers standard.

Also looking forward to this.

Here's hoping its more Band Of Brothers and less The Pacific

Both my wife and I thought it looked really great from the trailer.

I really have trouble getting into animation. Ken Keasey had quote about our generational position as late silents, "We were too young to be beatniks and too old to be hippies" It was the same way with animation. The animation on early television was the old Loony Tunes and Tom and Jerry stuff recycled from the movie shorts market and when the kid directed stuff came out we were too old and had moved into a more adult fare. The more serious and story oriented stuff still always feels like a cartoon to me 🤷‍♂️

I've been watching the fifth season of Fargo.
Probably my favorite season, along with the first. However, I feel that showing all men (apart from one secondary character) as varying levels of evil/weak/stupid imbalances the show.

I'm a bit similar, I suppose. Although I consider the original 101 Dalmatians one of the greatest cinematic masterpieces of all time.

I have a different variation of that - see a Kurosawa film or two early enough, and you think "People are watching Japanese cartoons versus, ahem, actual films?!?!?!"

Started Euphoria and got to episode 2. Should I continue? It seems sort of anxiety inducing.

Maybe I should start True Detective. Or the many other HBO series. Veep seems enticing but I get too much politics through other outlets already. Or rewatch The Sopranos.

Veep is actually pretty funny. They don’t really get into politics but more in the whole process.

If you haven't watched The Wire, you need to fix that mistake now. Same with Station Eleven. And The Last Of Us.

I just started watching this show I've heard good things about, "30 Rock". I like it so far.
Hoping for a season 2, don't screw this up Netflix...

Snowy Sunday so I’m going to start Fargo season 5. Haven’t seen any of the previous seasons since the first. Heard this one was good.

I’ll consider Veep since I watched everything else that was recommended. No Netflix 🙈
