I need to find 'The Spy Who Came in from the Cold'.

Over the last week or so:

2180387

2180388

2180389

2180390

2180391

The last two are personal favourites, but all were worth a rewatch.

Burton. Awesome.

Taped that the other night. Great film been quite a few years since I've seen it. Cable has all the Star Trek films on this weekend, raining this weekend so going binge watch starting with Wrath of Kahn.

Beam me up Scotty another great ensemble cast performance with classic one liners, a great narrative with thrills spills and the triumph of CGI.

Missed this at the cinema, so it was nice to see it show up on Netflix. Was every bit as tense and creepy as expected.

Quite different from the Roadside Picnic novel, which it's (loosely) based on. The slow pace, glacial camera movements and the long takes (averaging over one minute per) all very economically help build a unique world and create a special tension.

Solaris (1972) will be next, as I've only seen the 2002 remake of that.

1/2 way through right now. From the very beginning Don Cheadle makes you believe he is Miles Davis. His screen presence is amazing
