I agree about Mulholland Drive, though I haven't seen Blue Velvet.

i went to see midnight in paris last night. It was hilarious. I still love Woody.

Finished The Crying Game last night. Good, but not spectacular.

My goal is to try to watch every movie on the 1001 Movies You Must Watch Before You Die.

That being said, the one's I've watched recently are:
The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari
The General
Blackmail
October: Ten Days That Shook The World
The Treasure of Sierra Madre
It Happened One Night
Double Indemnity
Sunset Blvd.

If I had to choose a favorite from the list, it would be a tie between The General and It Happened One Night

Just saw Blue Valentine and True Grit this weekend.

Blue Valentine just made me sad. A couple of scenes ring so true and the film's depiction of love disintegrating made it pretty difficult to watch.

True Grit was absolutely amazing for the first act but lost momentum midway through the second act. Mattie Ross was one of the best child characters in recent memory.

Watched the old HBO movie "Barbarians at the Gate" with James Garner last night. Loved it. Those deep gorge suits, ha ha. Great jokes. It has stood up very well.

I just finished watching 'The Lincoln Lawyer' and thought it was great. I read the book years ago and thought the movie was just as good.

Agreed! Just watched this one a few days ago. Not a big fan of Matthew Mcconaughey, mainly because of the awful acting. However, I found it easy to get sucked into this movie, as it wasn't a typical role for him. Also just watched "Stranger than Fiction". Fantastic movie. It may be one of my favorites.

My wife and I have watched It Happened One Night literally dozens of times, it's the perfect 'RomCom'.

Watched Source Code last night. Had no idea what it was about going in and was pleasantly surprised. Reminded me a bit of Moon.
