Well have to say my two Modi Eleganti custom made suits from the Pennisula Hotel shop in Hong Kong. World class all around. Current replacement cost $6000 + depending on fabric choice. A real treat to wear.

I would have to say my Barbour and my LVC jeans have lasted a long time and had countless wears over the years and held up the best

Not the most expensive or luxurious items I own by a long shot, but quality wise they have definately earned their keep.

I don't wear tailored clothing very often so hard to quantify the quality.

Shoes and boots are tough too, I have a lot of pairs on the go and rotate them regularly.

In terms of fabric I have a Oxxford Clothes 100% Vicuña Overcoat

Hard to beat Loro Piana when it comes to Cashmere. I have a Carmel, 100% Cashmere Storm System “Horsey” Jacket

(insert some words to show I care about your comment)
The sarcasm does remind me of a good point: Fast fashion and longevity.

Most people get rid of clothing well before it gets worn out, regardless of quality.

I enjoy buying high quality clothing like the rest of SF, but I'm sure my GAP fatigue jacket and wrangler jeans are going to outlive me.

Dormeuil definately for my business suit and Huddersfield for a hopsack jacket. A Carnet jacket for the summer and another Dormeuil 835061 Italia navy blazer for the summer.
All seasons covered.

My RM Williams comfort craftsman boots. I've worn them through 7 years of Texas heat and travel, gotten them soaked and caked in mud, sweated through the lining, and walked thousands of miles. I haven't even had to replace the sole yet (though I will soon), and after all that they still look good enough to wear to work.

My wife got me an RL Purple label wool overcoat maybe 10-12 plus years ago that I have no idea what she paid for it. But that thing wears like a champ. It's in storage because we live in Florida now. However, love that coat.

The older RL Purple Label were excellent garments. I think made by St Andrews in Italy. https://www.saintandrews.it/ The RLPL shoes were once by Edward Green. Sadly that has all stopped now. The true beauty of that arrangement was that RL had massive sales to clear out inventory so you could get most excellent garments at the end of the season at normal prices.

I was unaware of St Andrews making the garments, thank you. I always wondered why the coat looked hand made. But I always thought, no, that couldn't be. However, St Andrews is nearly exclusively or is exclusively hand made. Either way, I really like the coat.

Also I think the top brands despite their emphasis on quality have varying degrees of quality on all fabrics

I have an Oxxford Clothes “Emperors” Cashmere which is of the highest quality, easily as good as anything I have from LP
