Absolutely. I made a couple figures in just a few good months back in 2010. It just depends on the dealer. Honestly -- it's more of a knowledge based business. The more you know, the more you can lure customers in. However, as you may have noticed, paintball is not big right now due to how expensive it is to play...I will say this: Paintball had its chance to become big but the greedy executives who were big in the sport blew its chances. (Hence why you don't see it on ESPN and such anymore). Guns range from 200-1500. Profit can be from 300-400 depending how much you sell it for. Competition is strong just like any other business....The online market for paintball guns is huge.... I don't see myself doing this as a living, but definitely something I can do on the side to make a little dough. I do love the business area and that's something I'm looking to get into.

I'm a cost accountant for a food manufacturing plant. After working in the public/tax field, I decided that wasn't the route I wanted to go so I went into the private field, and I couldn't be happier. Long story short though, the manufacturing plant is a subsiduary for the parent company, who I work for, so I technically don't work for anyone at the manufacturing plant. My boss is actually on the east coast, and I've never met him since I took the job 3 years ago; my interview was done over the phone. It's good that I'm the only accountant there because I've learned a hell of a lot, but the bad part is that I pretty much need to do everything, literally, so I do what a controller does but for half their pay

Actually was at Red Urban's office these two days and met a few of Tribal guys (mainly your creative director). Maybe you were in the group, it was at the pub below the office.

Hacking life right now - working on my own venture, working part time for another startup, and helping an NGO setup an education centre in the mountains. Definitely living in the moment these days...
