Sunday night, bought a kilo of organic broad beans on Saturday what to do with them? Hulled the beans, blanched for two minuted remove outer shell. The colour is amazing such a vibrant emerald green.

Consulted a few cook books and decided on a recipe from Plenty multi vegetable paella; red and yellow caps, julienned carrots used a used a leek instead of onions to start. Then fried off some chorizo, chicken and left over flat head filet for Mrs GF and son.

Then for the last ten minutes added the beans. A real riot of colour for dinner. Washed down with a couple of cold Coppers Sparkling Ales.

Lol just read some of the twitter comments, @jamieoliver Remove the chorizo. We don't negotiate with terrorists.First warning. Actually I put he Chorizo in after speaking with a friend who described a squid ink paella with Chorizo he had in Barcelona last year.

Oven roasted artichokes.
Overnight marinaded flap steak (shoyu, sesame oil, juice of a couple oranges, garlic, onions) I stuck under the broiler.

It was pretty damn good.

Manton-did you ever swap risotto recipes with Podesta?

I don't think so. The one I use is from the TFL book, which has worked well for me.

Also, you know that I played for the other team, right?

I just figured all you folks had cocktail parties and pillow fights when they cameras weren't on.
