There is a huge Laduree boom these days after they published some books. I found their macarons to be rather meh.

That looks delicious Manton. For me, it tasted better than it photographed. Crispy chicken thighs with fennel, orange, thyme & olives and a side of super parmy polenta.

That looks great! But that is a lot of peel...was it bitter?

The chicken looks great; the polenta looks like very dry scrambled eggs. I'm sure it was delicious, though.

It wasn't. I'm guessing that roasting it with the fennel, thyme and garlic helped.

Ha ha, yeah I thought the same thing, but it was delicious.
