Just curious what brands or specific products people here find to be a good value....for example, products that offer high value per dollar.

I would propose Geox driving loafers are a decent value.

What comes to mind as a good value to you?

I don't care about high-end underwear. Thus, I like to buy boxers in simple checks and plaids from American Eagle. They hold up well.

Another classic is Fruit of the Loom boxer briefs.

J.Crew merino sweaters. Too bad they apparently stopped making them, finding that junky cashmere allows higher margins.

I'd also say Hickey Freeman. They don't get much love here, but I'm very happy with a few of my Hickey jackets. Granted I bought them on huge discount at a sample sale, but still.

Someone during Secret Santa in my dorm freshmen year of college gave me American Eagle boxers. I still have them and wear them, they are comfortable, the waistband is like new and there are no holes or tears. I've had them for 6 years. On the other hand my Barneys shirting fabric boxers had 2 pairs rip in the crotch in about a month.

Nordstrom shirts I've seen have all been really well made (tight single-needle stitching) with nice fabrics. And about a third the cost of a Lorenzini, assuming neither was on sale.

Used Oxxford suit/jackets on Ebay, always a good deal.

Costco wool pants, excellent value for $45

Their new cashmere sweaters are a good deal. Loro Piana yarn and good construction.
