Finished up 2 or 3 books in the past week, currently reading True Compass. I've decided to try the 50 book challenge this year, so I'm going to be digging deep in my library. Keynes is definitely on deck, hopefully before CPA exam prep starts in earnest.

This month I had started a new book for reading and just yesterday finished that book. After that I haven't started any book, looking forward for some exciting suggestions on book. Can anyone suggest a new book for me?

Finnegans Wake by James Joyce

EDIT: Completely true story: I once dated a young woman way out of my league who was attracted to me, at least in part, because I'd read Finnegans Wake.

I just started Breakfast of Champions by Kurt Vonnegut. I recently finished reading Slaughterhouse Five and thought I'd read or re-read a few of his other books.

I love the part where Billy and the soldiers are talking about revenge and the guy coming to answer the door... he says he'd wait five, ten years to wait for his revenge.. and one guy says "what would you say to him" and he responds "you shouldn't have answered the door." something to that effect...just recalling from memory but a great read!

Whenever I read a Vonnegut book I always seem to feel a little out of touch for a few days. :)

Thank you so much L'Incandescent, actually I was thinking which book to start.
Finnegans Wake seems quite interesting and I like real stories. Is it romantic story or it has a lot of suspense?

It's not very romantic, but it does have lots of suspense.
