I'd might need a bit of water to go with that though, otherwise it might a burn a hole through my brain....

A little water, but nothing excessive. Its damn tasty when its strong.

That's a real shame. I have the KirklandxMacallan sherry cask in both 15 and 17 year vintages, they're very good. I've almost demolished the 15, but luckily bought a number of the 17s as backup

Small glass of Don Julio 1942 with a RP 1992 for the jacuzzi. Pre dinner, while kiddies finish up their down time.

my standard Monday martini. probably a 6:1 Tanqueray Rangpur:Lillet ratio and more than a few dashes of Angostura shaken violently. a few olives from that Santa Barbara based company. contentment.

That sounds good, or at the very least significantly better than last night's drink!

I've been on wine for about a week now (part of an effort to make healthier choices and shed some weight gained this past semester), but tonight seemed like a good time for a dirty martini. Gin, a little more vermouth than most would prefer. Shaken with a little orange bitters until my hands froze to the shaker.

Delicious.

Split a bottle of vino with Mrs. Piob. Now on my third manhattan.

3 oz Cask 16 Crown Royal
1.5 oz Vya red
Velvet Tango Room bitters.

One more and I'll be done for the night.

Really, a good Canadian makes a nice Manhattan. And VTR bitters! Weekend after NYE Hunts and his cocktail-loving lady will be in front of that wood. Can't wait!

Aberlour A'Bundah here.

Edit: 12 oz of CR would lay me the heck out! At least in less than 8 hrs!

Nice! What batch do you have?

I went to party last weekend and the host cracked open a bottle of batch 6. It was incredibly decedent, rich and complex. I could drink it every day and not get bored.

I honestly think Canadian makes the smoothest manhattans. I'm not saying the best, I'm just saying the smoothest.

If our friend is there tell him we said "hi." He took a pic of us that turned out fantastic and I actually printed and framed it.
