I had a couple of these on Saturday before dinner at a local restaurant ... I believe it's more of a "house recipe" cocktail but it was quite tasty. I'd recommend trying it and perhaps tinkering a bit although I'm not sure of the proportions.

The Cocchi Torino vermouth is also quite good:

I agree, this is a great vermouth. Just tried it the first time this past week. Earthier than others that I have personally tried.

Tonight, had a Vieux Carré 1:1:1:.33 of rittenhouse, remy martin vsop, this cocchi di torino, & benedictine. Also, had my favorite these days, the last word.

Never tried a Last Word with Old Tom gin. I think it's already sweet enough with a London dry. Give it a try.

Tuscanian rosso, Gavi di Gavi, Mojito, Cuba Libre.

My normal is with a london dry as well, although I just purchased the old tom recently so had to try my favorites with this to see the differences. I need to do a side to side on them soon. Also just picked up Citadelle gin, so maybe I should compare that with the old tom and beefeater.

After a big purchase I always want to try each bottle in a cocktail and always throws me off for comparing the new bottles to my old of the same style -_-.

I think the Citadelle might be too light and delicate to stand up against Chartreuse, lime juice and maraschino. Anyway, if you give it a try, let us know.

Any suggestions for something like an old fashioned but without the sweetness? I usually just do bourbon and bitters
