Trying a double breasted blazer without a tie. I replaced the buttons on the blazer - they were black horn.

This worked better than I might have guessed.
With a medium blue shirt you’d be channelling Pierce Brosnan in the earlier scenes of Goldeneye!😀

I like the shirt, undecided about the pants. I think darker boots would have been better here.
G-STAR denim cargo jeans. I probably have 12 pairs of cargo pants from casual to semi dressy
mid grey wool. Cotton, Linen, wool and denim (also cotton I know).

The shirt is RL patchwork in a hearty linen.

Next time it'll be bit loafers! :)

Nigel Cabourn 3-pack tee, heavy twill chinos by a Singapore brand that has them made up in Okayama (Kerbside & Co.), belted aubergine cardigan from a small shop in Jingumae, Tokyo that's not Brycelands, punched captoe oxford from Rendo Asakusa.

Not pictured:

Tudor Pelagos LHD on stock titanium bracelet, Masunaga GMS-008 glasses, Falke beige socks because somehow a tonal look just works so well with well-made clothes and good fabric.

I like cargo pants. I'm just not sure about the taper on these.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
